April 26, 2008

We offer a one day class that starts at 8:00 am and gets over at 5:00pm.
Minimum class size is 10.  If we don't get enough students for a class, we will hold those names over for the following date.

Please register by going to, or calling the Community Education Office in Garber High School (989-894-9718) for the Bay City classes.

If you would like more information about a class you can take at home on a CD and book, please fill out the information request form found at the bottom of this page.
We have the America's Boating Course (ABC) available and would like to have you contact us about getting a copy.  When you are ready, just contact us and we will set up a time and place for you to take the exam.  If you pass, you will be awarded a safe boating certificate.

For more information please fill out the information request form or email us at Webmaster.

Take a look at Boat Smart to see reasons why there should be more education classes for the recreational boater and to check out Retired Senior Chief Tom Rau's (now in the Manistee Flotilla of the Auxiliary) book, "Boat Smart Chronicles".
